TRAVEL CLINICS

Unfortunately, due to national shortage of Hepatitis A, we are currently out of stock and unable to offer this vaccine during consultations with the nurses if indicated. The nurses are still able to provide travel advice and/or other vaccines as required.

7th December Closure
Patient Notice: DMC will be closed from 1.00pm on Thursday 7th December 2017 for Protected Learning Time. We will reopen on Friday 8th at 8.00am as normal. For any urgent issues during this time, please contact Out of Hours on 0300 033 5000 or dial 999 in a life-threatening emergency.

Test results

Results will be given face to face during a routine appointment or over the phone (between 9:00-17:00).

Blood results normally take 7 days to come back.

Cervical Smears – Anyone who has a smear carried out at the surgery will receive their results by letter either from the practice or the hospital. This will tell you the result and follow-up arrangements. If you have not heard after eight weeks please ring reception and we will chase the result.

Pregnancy Tests – the doctor or nurse will make arrangements with you for these results.

Other Investigations – These will be given personally, by the doctor or the nurse, at a follow-up appointment or by letter
